An Trek Fada is a charity walk from Belfast to Wexford with 4 nautical themed stops along the way.

Starting on 5th May 2014 at 10am at the Titanic Centre in Belfast, I will walk to the Jeanie Johnson in Dublin, and then on via N11 to Dunbrody Famine Ship, and finally finishing in Wexford on the Quay near the NRLI / Bridge

The proposed route as follows:

DATE DAY FROM TO APPROX DIST KM’S

Actual Progress report:

Day 1 – 26.4km
Day 2 – 30.5 km
Day 3 – 24.1km
Day 4 – 21.6km
Day 5 – 25.3km
Day 6 – 16.4km
Day 7 – 25.2km
Day 8 – 25.5km
Day 9 – 20.7km Total 215.7km
Day 10 –
Day 11 –
Day 12 –
Day 13 –

Please note: When the original route was set out, it had urban hubs at the centre of it, but should the walk have been the most direct walking route from Titanic Centre to Wexford it would be 364km.

Due to an injury, I have had to start taking the shortest route where possible, so An Trek Fada is still from Belfast to Wexford via New Ross, but currently 33.9km shorter.
